Trifecta Health offers Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy - a structured and extensively researched psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and PTSD symptoms. During EMDR therapy, the patient briefly focuses on trauma memories while experiencing bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements), which is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotional intensity of the memories.
EMDR therapy has been shown to be effective for a range of disorders including:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Chronic pain
- Addictions
- Other distressing life experiences

- Installation: Reinforce positive beliefs associated with the resolution of the trauma.
- Body Scan: Identify and process any residual physical tension.
- Closure: Ensure the client feels better at the end of each session.
